Community
GSC cultivates community.

Through Design
We are experts at understanding group dynamics and consider the long-term implications of how our designs can improve morale, interaction, communication, collaboration and other social processes. With a focus on community in mind, we are able to meet and exceed in implementing our clients’ goals. Examples include:
- Capstar: Revitalized break room design/flow to allow for more connection to the outdoors by placing a break room on an exterior wall with an outdoor patio thus cementing the interior-exterior relationship.
- Espey Consultants: Widened corridors to allow for the flow of normal traffic while also increasing “bump” opportunities for interaction between colleagues otherwise situated at a distance.
- AISD Middle School: Added external entrances to libraries within the school to create an immediate access point; thus increasing revenue for the school by allowing access to use the space for continuing education programs.
- Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Suite: Designed a two-sided nurse station for ease of access and collaboration.
